Nollywood actor and movie producer, Gbenga Oyeyiga's marriage to his banker wife, Lolade has ended.
The
cause of the breakup was after he allegedly beat her so badly she ended
up in hospital and stayed there for three weeks in January 2013.
Close
friends of Lolade, have disclosed that the beatings did not just start
and the January beating was not the first time as he had battered her
severally in the past, but it was the last straw.
Gbenga was arrested for battery and his wife was also planning to drag him to court but decided to drop the case.
Lolade
who has decided to save herself from the beatings she was getting as
packed her things and moved out of her matrimonial home and now lives
with their only child.

Ron and Eileen Everest never knew a world without each other. They were born in the same hospital – he in 1921, she in 1922 – and were friends practically from birth.
As 4-year-olds, they posed as bride and groom in a pretend wedding at a carnival. Later, barely out of their teens, they married for real.

Baby Born With Quran In Lagos
Residents from various parts of Lagos have been coming to catch a glimpse of a baby allegedly born with a miniature Quran at 9, Oguntade Street, Shasha area of the state. (crowd at the residence where the baby was born)
Incidents like these are scientifically impossible, but residents of the area say it is true even though some of them confessed that they did not see the baby clutching the miniature Quran, the holy book of the Muslims. They were only told about it.

House wife bathes husband's mistress with acid
A housewife, Mrs Suzanna Fawole (38), has been remanded in Ife prisons in Osun State after she was arraigned in Magistrates’ court, Modakeke on Monday, June 3.
Fawole was accused of bathing one Funmilayo Aderibigbe (35), whom she suspected to be husband’s lover, with a liquid substance suspected to be acid, thereby causing her grievous bodily harm.The acting Chief Magistrate, Mr O.A. Ayilara ordered that the accused be remanded in Ife prison custody while the case was adjourned till July 1 for further hearing.
May 6, was like any other day for Aderibigbe who resides on Adeboye Street, Ife-Modakeke road. Set for the day ahead, she went ahead to prepare herself for the activities she had lined up for herself, oblivious of what was in stock for her.
